THANK YOU to everyone who replied and gave advice yesterday and to those who have offered help, I will certainly be taking up some of the offers allbeit a little in the future.
To the people who have said I have inspired them to ride or have more fun with their horses A HUGE THANK YOU to you all. If through my time of anxiety with my horses I have triggered something in you to get out there and have a better relationship with your horse then it has all been worth it, it is not a wasted time. I never thought my admission of being so scared to get on my own horses would spark such a huge response.
I now feel I have to overcome this in order to help all the other people who are losing precious time with their horses through fear.
Im going to do things bit by bit and i am going to share with anyone interested each stage of this journey. I do have a plan of action which I am going to put in place, I WILL OVERCOME THIS and then im going to help other people through my experiences.
Im not stressed about this, Im actually looking forward to it as i want to share it with you.
I am still frightened to death, but i am on a mission to get over this and not let it ruin not only my time with the horses but also other areas of my life as ive realised other areas of my life are being effected by my actions (or lack of them).
DAY 1 23 FEB - PUT SADDLE ON MY HORSE (do not attempt to get on, just experience how that feels) let you know later how it went.
