and i wont be doing another one in a hurry! It started from our yard and she knew straight away this wasn't a normal hack.Set of with Taylor and got 100 metres up the road and she started! First off she saw 3 of the other liveries across the field so that lit her up,then the bits of red & white tape showing the way were dangerous and to be avoided at all costs, the long piece of tape flapping and wipping in the wind sent us across one field in a nano second! not to long after that 2 horses came past and that was it, cantering on the spot, spinning round in circles, nose on chest etc by which time another horse was coming past and she got a bit madder and then 3 more came past and trotted off straight away and completely blew her brain! At least we came back together which is more than i can say for the 3 who went before us..all there horses came home on there own!

Yep same here - had the same experience on Saturday with a fun ride that goes through our yard

They just *know*, don't they? I tried extra hard to set off while there was no one else in view, otherwise we'd catch them up in a second, but that didn't stop the cantering sideways and airs above ground...

Oh yes we had a few of those as well, at one time i thought she was actually going to bronc. She was much worse when she stood still so just tried to keep her moving. If i do another then we are going last so no one can overtake us.Needless to say she didnt get to go on the hound ride as if she can't cope with 6 horses coming past there was no way she would cope with 60!

Weird, eh... I could do with going first really, so I don't have anyone she wants to overtake!

My horse is like that, and if you whack him right at the front he has no one to overtake so chills a bit. Plus, the efforst of keeping right at the front is good for knackering him out!
