Good for incisors but I really wouldnt recommend trying for premolars becuase it is too easy to jab the gingiva and miss the teeth and the horse will resent it and make it difficult for the EDT to rasp next time they come.

ooh and no toothpaste for neddies, tis too corrosive on their teeth!

My dentist (as in equine

) told me to brush front of aged Shetlands teeth daily to remove build up of grass which potentially could rot (and was) rotting gum line. I just use old toothbrush of mine!!

I had a friend who worked in a racing yard and they used to give the newbies a brush and a tube of toothpaste and tell them to brush all the horses teeth.....

My equine dentist told me to pick my girlies front teet two or three times and week and brush behind them. She has gap and gets food stuck that he's worried will impact

not sure the brush would be any help though!

My EDT told me to brush one of my donkeys teeth as often as I can. Just the fronts and backs of her bottom front teeth, where she seems to collect food. I use a cheap Tesco toothbrush.
I think the person that 'invented' the equidental joined here when it first came out.
