Starts tomorrow , only a few hours left in which to join. Its very motivating, free unless you join premium which is only £12 so a pound a week for the extras. Bargain. Head over to their Facebook page if you are interested.

I’ve never heard of it but just had a look and think I might sign up? Will help motivate me with getting cracking with groundwork with my baby pony over the next few months?

This will be my fourth year - it's definitely a great way to help with the motivation.

What is it??

Basically one pledges to spend a certain number of hours doing stuff with your horse each week, plus there are challenges to complete with them depending on what option you choose. It's a very supportive group.

FB group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/3195956027289328

Website here: https://www.topbarnonline.co.uk/shop

You need to sign up before the end of today as it starts tomorrow.

i've joined - not necessarily planning to do anything differently as a result, as I already have a 'plan of work' at the moment, but it's definitely nice to have the community feel, especially as a few people from my yard are doing it, and I may do some of the 'Rhi's Randoms'

for those who have missed it. Go along to the FB page anyway, you can pledge ,to yourself to do a certain number of hours each week and just go for it. its too late to join premium which is very helpful with its things to do and videos of how to do them, but they are such a helpful bunch on there they will help you along with idea, its very motivating. I missed the start last year but did what I couild then joined properly this year. Soi glad I did.

I think the Facebook group is now closed/hidden to anyone that didn't join already. Sounds like a great idea though, I'll have to keep an eye out for it next year :)

If you missed it and want to try something similar but possibly needing less commitment try Alternative Equestrian Club on FB. I started with this because of covid but still do it now as no transport, only do ground work and have very little spare time as a full time carer to my partner. As ponies are at home I can just pop out when time (and weather) allows.
