So I got the top chop zero to leave in my boys stable over night as I heard it’s good for them to pick away on when they run out of forage.
Well I put it in tonight and the wee shite ate it in 5 mins…..
Does anyone know a way that I can slow him down? Do you think he will eventually get fed up of it and start picking at it?
Or should I just give up and feed it as a feed as now I have a full bag of it 🤣

I do think Top Chop is too nice, really need plain chopped oat straw, or a net of oat straw.

I dont feed straw but have found that plain Timothy chaff or simple systems haycare is not at all popular so I've given that on the few occasions they've had to stay in.

I wish I had checked this before buying a full bag 🤣🤣 oh well at least I know he will eat it 🫣🤣

Mine scoffed the bucketful immediately for 3 nights in a row, then went 'meh' ... not sure ... and now only eats it when he's hungry and run out of forage.

The only unmolassed chaff my cob will eat is Mollichaff Lite. He really likes it! Top Chop Zero - he'd rather starve. And Honeychop lite is only marginally better.
My greedy little pony won't touch Top Chop either.
