Hi,
Just wondering about your opinions on feed balancers. Which do you rate the best for showing condition without fizz for a 4 year old good-doer? All feedback would be interesting but I am particularly thinking about small ponies for in-hand and ridden M&M, and Leid-Rein/First ridden classes
Many thanks

Saracen do a supplement called Equijewel - kept fantastic condition on our QH mare through the show season. She normally drops a bit of weight with all the travelling but she looked amazing right up to the last shows.
Our mare's not particularly fizzy but the yard uses it on all their competition horses and we didn't notice any difference in their temperaments with it.

tried Blue Chip, didn't improve condition at all.

tried Top Spec and it worked wonders. have been using it for all of my horses for about 7 years now and it is brilliant on all of them.

topspec made my horse pile on the lbs...way to much though - had to take her back off after 6 weeks as she'd nearly gone obese!! (that was JUST TS and grass...)

I use eqine answers 365 complete and it is fab!! The big 4 kg tub lasts me 10 months! so is alot cheaper than the others and is fed with the existing feed rather than substituting as some balancers can do. I show my mare and she wasnt fizzy but super shiny and looked great. She didnt get over weight on it either.
I like you spent ages asking and looking into the other makes and after contacting EA was satisfied that this waz\s the cheapest bestest option and the results proove that. Im also using their premierflex HA too!

Another Topspec fan here, but yes, with good doer natives either feed small doses or watch the weight pile on! I expect all have good helplines - Topspec do - so you could talk to all of them and then make your choice.

i use pink powder as it contains everything you have in a pelleted balencer but without the fillers, and much more cost effective. i have had show winners from foals to veterans on this.
