Top Spec calmer

Can this be fed without the horse being on Top Spec feed?

I've currently got Star on So-Kalm Plus (Equine America) which has Tryptophan as its ingredient, rather than magnesium. But it isn't cheap!!!!!!

The Top Spec Calmer also has Tryptophan and is considerable cheaper. Is it part of the Top Spec 'regime' or will it work independently of the TS feed balancer?

yes i did it is one of the best calmers because of the tryptophan. my ponies was only on nuts and chaff

yes you can add it to the feed whether or not you are feeding other top spec products. ive had some good results from it, especialy when the spring grass is coming thru it helps take the edge of the high spirits
