Top Spec Comprehensive Feed Balancer - Comments Please?

Another fan here.

I use it alongside the condition flakes for my 30 year old and it works very well. Made the change over from Blue Chip some years ago and noticed a difference almost immediately. Excellent results.

fantastic much better than the others on the market IMHO.
I have used 2 other types but they didnt produce as good results and the one made my mare go a bit doolally.
I only feed lay off cubes and alfa a oil olong with top spec and my mare events off that.
A friend of mine has started to us it on her anglo arab who only seems to put on a belly and he looks fantastic now best I have ever seen him.
I dont know anyone that hasnt had good experiences with top spec but am sure there are some. it does depend on what you are looking for in the balancer i needed something to keep condition on and keep her calm and top spec does the job fabulously. I dont want to say which one turned her a bit bonkers on forum but PM me if you want more info on it.

(I fed full recomended amount for the first bag and have now halved it as i feed on top of the balancer) so that makes it even cheaper.

A huge Top Spec fan here too.

Am the proud owner of one healthy, happy and gleaming horse.

I use it for my TB and his coat is great but I have a part Tb mare and not using on her at the mo. What is the best product for keeping weight on over the winter? How about the Baileys shine stuff - sorry have forgotten name

Love it. my horses feet are completely transformed from what they used to be, he needs v.little hard feed (currently on no more than 1 scoop a day of mix) and always has a shiny coat and just looks well

I use the Top Spec condition flakes, they are excellent at keeping weight on my old cob and I find them good value compared to some of the so called Veteran conditioning feeds. Some people prefer barley rings and others go for one of the high oil products like Outshine.

A lot depends on what your budget is and personal preference. I like the flakes but am also a big fan of barley rings..

We use the Anti Lam one as all ours are good doers. Fantastic - coats gleam, feet are brilliant and they are in great all round health. Their nutritionists are excellent too if you need any advice. I usually speak to Nicola Tyler there if I need any advice and she is excellent.

I love top spec feed balancer - it turned my dizzy mare with terrible feet and ribs sticking out everywhere; into a gleaming well covered and well mannered horse! Super transformation and it now manages to keep a sensible head on her shoulders, even when she is event fit. Haven't come across anything else as successful - it is worth every penny and I'd feed it to every other horse in a millisecond!
