We currently have the comprehensive balancer that we are feeding to our 14.2 warmblood cross who is who not a very good doer. Picking up new pony today - he's the opposite - a real lives on fresh air type. At the vetting vet said don't lethim get any fatter - strip graze and maybe a handful of lo cal chaff (we have Dengie Hi fi lite) and she recommends that everyone feeds the top spec all in one powder.

Just wondering whether he can have the same balancer as skinny pony? I've checked the website but none the wiser...any advice?

Fro the website: "TopSpec All-in-One (formerly Comprehensive) is the outstanding multi-supplement that we put into TopSpec Comprehensive Feed Balancer (therefore they should not be fed together)."

so are they the same thing???? Even though ones a pellet and ones a powder?

Sounds like one and the same thing. Give them a ring and check, Im sure they will have an advice line. I only feed the pellets, not seen the powder to be honest...

They're the same in terms of 'supplement' ie: vits, hoof supplement, probiotics etc but the Comprehensive balancer has protein & other goodies added to help with condition and muscle development.

So the balancer is basically the powder plus conditioning ingredients - well, this is my understanding of it after many years of using TopSpec and many chats with their nutritionists.
