I have my 12 yrold TBx on 24 hr turnout, teeth / worms/ warmth all fine, very light work once or twice a week and am currently feeding (split between 2 feeds):
Top spec compehensive balancer 500g (rec amount)
Top Spec CDool and Condition cubes half a stubbs scoop
Alfabeet 1 stubbs scoop (dry weight)
AlfaA Oil Double handful in each food plus linseed flakes and corn oil
plus ad lib haylage
He looks OK but I was hoping to just put a bit more meat on him and he is a fussy feeder in that he just wont eat a lot of food so need to pack as many calories in as I can in a small a volume as possible.
Anyway, I was at the feed store and after humming and haaing bought the Top Spec Conditioning flakes. Iknew they contained cereal in a muesli like mix but I was really surprised that it actually just looks like barley!! I know its probably just psychological but I am just thinking that this is going to blow his mind as barley = heating to me!
Anyone else used conditioning flakes and had good or bad experiences?
