what do you feed your top spec with?

trying to cut down the amount jays gets as its too much for him at one time, do i need to feed as much with top spec?

currently he gets;

show shine 2 scoops
sugarbeet 1 scoop
copra meal 2 scoops
supplements

gets this twice a day

I use the top spec balancer top spec cool and condition sugarbeet plus dengie alpha with oil.My horse is tb so will eat loads without weight problem.Not sure what top spec you are feeding but I was advised that the cool and cond was suitable for my boy as it was high in protein and fibre.
 
I rang top spec and they where very helpful they told me to feed Top spec leisure balancer, top spec condition cubes and a chaff, i use hi fi original and add carrots. If you feed the correct amount of balancer no other supplements are needed. Which one do you feed.

Thats what I feed my two. Feed the original w happy chaff (? the oily one) to my big horse and the antilami one w happy hoof chaff to the little pony and have done all winter. Just added some topspec condition cubes to big ones feed when he started loosing weight but he is back off that now as the grass is coming though.

sounds like what i was planning, with be using safe & sound for little one & show shine for jay

I had my horse on the topspec balancer and Alpa A Oil last summer and plan on the same this year, maybe not Alpha Oil as he is a little porky now. Through the winter I added a slow release energy mix which I will start to come off. I love the stuff my boy had such rubbish feet and they have improved so much and its great not having to add lots of supplements!

i feed mine with 1 alpha a oil, 1/2 copra meal and 1/3 alfabeet (1/2 speedibeet in summer instead of alfabeet). I'm moving onto part livery so I will now be feeding it alongside topspec cool conditioning cubes, kwikbeet and dengie happy hoof
