Ive decided to do a spring clean and wash all my numnahs etc. Usually I just stick them in my horsewear bag in the washer but washing doesnt seem to remove any hair. Does anyone have any top tips on getting them hair free?! Thanks

One of those grooming stones does the job brilliantly for me. The hoover works well too but the stone does a better job. Gets all the stray hairs off the serge undersides of my saddles too :)

If you don't have a stone or a magic brush would a rubber curry comb do the job in the meantime?

I put one of my saddle cloths in a pillowcase to wash it the other day and the only downside was that it squished down the bottom and in the creases it made it was still a bit mucky

Sorry to hijack OP! :o

Silly! Don't you know you have to accidentally include a favourite item of clothing in the washing machine, then the hair magically transfers to that. Doh! ;)
