I took on a horse a few months ago with some serious issues and have been continuosly been trying to find out more about his history to try and piece together when and how it all went wrong for him. He's slowly but sure turning into a lovely horse and will see out the rest of his days with me.

His full name is Topflight EL Torreodore and was bred by Topflight stud in Derbyshire. I put the stud prefix in the National equine database and as well as his name being and parentage being listed there were also many others several listing him as the sire (I was in shock when i saw this as person i got him off had no idea he'd ever been used as a stallion)
one of his progeny is Toplfight El flamenco - BSJA but can't get a contact number for owner.

Anyway i'm a bit of a geek with my gee gee's and like to put together portfolio's of info/pics/results/press cuttings etc and i would love to be able to contact the breeder to find out excatly what he was like when he was little and i'm also trying to hunt down owners of his progeny.

So can anyone help me out on this one cos i seem to be hitting dead ends all the time

There are several horses registered with BE that have the Topflight prefix, 4 are by the stallion Theodor which is probably related to your horse. It may be worth trying to contact the owners, 2 were competing last season, if you send a letter to either BS or BE they should forward it for you.
Possibly put something in CR or breeding you may get a better response, and it wont disappear so quickly.

Hi my wife Denise is the owner Sky Top Flight El Flemenco we have had her from the breeder as an unbroken 3 y/o .Sky has been with profeessional yard for 3 years super jumper and now in training for Eventing and showing very good prospects. If you would like any questions that we could answer please forward.Kind regards.TE=Steffanie;10320517]I took on a horse a few months ago with some serious issues and have been continuosly been trying to find out more about his history to try and piece together when and how it all went wrong for him.
