Toppy's home!!!! (Update on Greyhound that left home)

GOOD NEWS GUYS!!! Toppy is home safe and sound. After calling all the local police vets and kennels with no luck a nice police woman rang me to let me know that a Greyhound dog with a collar and red coat had been found less than a mile away from home and handed into the police, although my BLACK dog had been recorded as Brindle which is why i was told they had not found him, this nice lady had put two and two together and realised it was too much of a coincidence and rang me. Am sooooooo relieved to know that he was handed in late yesterday afternoon so he didnt rough it last night thank god although it would have been cheaper to put him up in the Holiday inn than the kennels @ £40. per night. Nightmare.
Thanks for your kind comments guys, I have been and had a new collar tag made and i will be booking him in for microchipping in the morning.

That is great news, guess it took a woman with brains to work it out!

I can't believ they had more than 1 greyhound with a collar and a red coat, regardless of what colour they thought the dog was.
