At the moment I have J on Topsec balancer and Alfa A, he is still not carrying as much wieght as I would like and is out most weekends competing at the moment so needs a bit extra. However I am parinoid about him reverting back to psycho horse mode so very cautious about what I add to his feed.

I saw the topspec cubes and thought they might suit him, anyone recommend them? I also noticed they are very low in starch which is what I wanted for J

Any thoughts?

Thanks

I have fed Beau on them since i got him, and you know how woll he has done on them, I feed them along side a bit of alfa oil and topspec leisure time feed balancer, he only gets 1/3 of the amount of CC cubes he is allowed, he has never even needed the full RDA.

They definitely havent made him fizzy at all, he is one chilled dude!

I cant recommend them highly enough!

I *think* that they are simply sugar beet, mixed with alfalfa and soya and linseed oil, and are therefore quite a bit of a rip off! Not entirely sure though..

Whoever's got a bag of CC cubes have a look at the list of the ingredients for us?!

Madhector, why not try Sarcen's equijewel? its high fat rice bran, really good for making them fatter, but does not make them whizzy...

He gets alfalfa, sugerbeet and oil anyway so would be a bit of a rip of! lol

Will have a look at the saracen Equijewel, thanks

pretty similar feed regime to Pidge, he's on TS feed balancer, alfa a oil (only just put him on that was on alfa a) and the cool and condition cubes for ooh coming up for 2 years now and I don't think it heats him up at all and IMO I think Pidge looks fab

not biased whatsoever

when he was clipped again last Monday there wasn't any trace of grease or anything on his coat just a nice soft shiny short coat

my TB was on them and did ok but i found them very expensive, he is now on spillers high fibre cubes and looking great. i prefer spillers to top spec as they tell you what the ingredients are

i found alfa beet and soya oil great for putting weight on my boy, loads cheaper than conditioning cubes too

good luck
