Torsian Treeless Saddle?

Brilliant. The original and still the best treeless saddles. I know many don't like the style, but I find them extremely comfortable and make me feel very safe. They have also given our cob immense freedom of movement.
Often copied, never equalled.
Have got to say, they willl NOT suit every horse or rider.

Hi there,

I've got a Barefoot Nevada treeless saddle and I really love it. It's super comfi for horse and rider.
Sorry, don't know the Torsian.

regards, Saskia

I imported my old Torsion from Rita at Hue Hott.de in 2001 as I couldn't find anyone in UK who sold treeless sadldles for less than £700.

The saddle cost me £450 and has been worth it's weight in gold. I use it on my elderly arab, I broke in my Ardennes X in it and converted at least three other anti treeless people with it!

It still looks like new, still butt ugly, but loveable.

You can be assured of a good quality and reliable part of your tack room with a Torsion.

One thing I am annoyed about is that they don't seem to have progressed in style. Other treeless brands have evoloved but Torsion have not. I would love a traditional looking Torsion.

If you can see the likes of Trekker and Startrekk - they are rival european brands who have both launched beautiful taditional saddles.

I've ridden in the Torsion and I have to say, it was like the best armchair in the world but the pony didn't like the saddle being directly on his back IYSWIM so I bought a Trekker and I love it.....mind you, I haven't removed the handle on the pommel as he's a bucker and it can be useful even if it's ugly :)
