As title. What a fantastic jockey. He stopped racing when he realised all not well with Quato Star, (can't spell his name, sorry). Sad outcome but what a good call. Who says jockey's don't care, winning is all!!!

Hope Quato is OK and only a blip.

Hopefully that is the last race for this wonderful racehorse. Taken to the well one last time, when he should not have been.

Fully agree with this. He owes nobody anything and deserves an honourable (active!) retirement.
 
My experience off racing for 7 years is any jockey pulls up if all is not well on every horse they rode for us. It's nothing new and part off being a jockey.
 
Probably said already... But I don't understand why they run him, the horse has nothing to prove. I hope he has a lovely retirement and maybe start team chasing like Denman for his second career? :)
