My front room that is! (did I get you going - how mean!)

Today I learnt that my JR's can indeed get onto my chest of drawers, they took it upon themselves to pull down a plant/ornament thingy and shed it, I went home at lunch time to see them lying in a patch of sun with my entire living room floor covered in plant stuff.............cue walk back out again!

Oh and the chew deterrant - doesnt work....

So as of tonight they are being relocated to the kitchen, which is the barest room in the house - that'll teach em!!

I agree - chew deterrent soes not work as my coffee table bears living testimony too!!!

At least I know I'm not the only one going through it with a baby JRT!!!!

our Doberman ate our sofa and then the window sill when we left him for a couple of hours.. the window sill now has crib box on it.. he wont touch it now.. .

LOL @ paint from washing machine - thats just evil!

Mine haven't shown any inclination towards furniture, just ornaments really, suppose we should thank god for small mercies!

I tend to rub a bar of soap over the chewed area or neat washing up liquid it seems to work. i would personally invest in a dog cage then at least your home and your dogs will all be safe when your not in.

Mine eats DVDs and CDs and CD cases... and books... and then falls asleep in the carnage with bit sof whatever it is she's eaten all round her mouth. At least it means I don't blame the greyhounds who've usually slept all through her games.

She's not too bad in truth, think she thinks she is part greyhound and all they do is sleep!
