I asked some some advise earlier this week regarding hacking and just a huge thank you to everyone for their advise!!!!! For you guys who dont know i was given a stunning warmblood who I was told would never hack at all as he is too scared and dangerous. I have had him a year and half and I just adore him. He is now dressaging (been to shows) and jumping but hacking was the one thing he would not do and as I am on my own in the evenings no one ever to go with
Soo I took the plunge over the last week and worked really had on getting his confidence outside the school and last night was the first time ever I had a canter in a the field (next to his field but massive for us) and we hacked down to the river passed his mate in the field (we even managed to navigate around the cat!!) and got home in one piece looking very proud of ourselves!!!!
I am just so pleased and I feel he will enjoy hacking but baby steps so lots more trips to the river you never know he may start splashing in the water soon!!!
totally pointless but thank you for reading!!
and just because
enjoying the view
and because he is cute!!
