I've just got home from spending the evening on the yard with my new loan horse Connie, i spent the evening giving her a tidy up and bath. I have enjoyed myself soooooo much! forgot how much fun you can have with a nice horse who likes to spend time with people! not enjoyed spending time with a horse like this for a very very long time!
Day 2 and i absolutely love her.

Here are a few photos, unfortunatly both my phone and camera ran out of batteries before i bathed her so no photos of her sparkly clean - but there will be over the next few weeks - you'll soon be sick of the sight of her.

I am so glad you are enjoying yourself and am sure you two are going to love one another very much. Even though her mane is shorter than you wanted I think it looks better than it was. Can't wait to see her sparkly clean. Enjoy!
 
AmyMay - yes lots of falabellas (sp) and foals have been chewing her tail - that will stop now she's with me! She's been out of work for about 6 months, so for the time being lots and lots of walking, then we'll see, bit of dressage, some pleasure rides, and hopefully start jumping in the future once she's fitter. she's been shown in the past so once the tail is improved maybe some of that too.

Glad you think the mane looks better Archiesmummy - so do i but it's quite radical!
 
She looks a real little sweetie. You're so right, spending time with a horse that enjoys attention and is happy to be with you is such a lovely feeling, makes all the difference. Hope you have many happy days together
