She had to visit the V E T today. Knew she had to have x-rays so no breakfast, no hoovering up after the horses and no carrots when we went to check the horses water and such. Cue one very sulky girlie.
So we knocked her out and I left her in the very capable hands of my bestest man friend, who very conveniently is a superb vet. Upshot is she has OCD, arthritis and mild elbow displacia (sp) in both forelegs. On the bright side she doesn't have to have surgery...she is a nightmare patient. So we are on a new treatment for arthritis, Trocoxil. She has one tomorrow, another 2 weeks later and then one a month. Fingers crossed she will be relatively pain free and back to her normal nutty self.
So all is good...until we have to do her other cruciate, which I know is dodgy!!
Whoops turned into a bit of an epic...sorry.
