...having been umming and ahhing, and am having to contemplate the idea of selling Norman. Makes me very sad-he is a lovely horse-but money and then time are the main reasons. I love him to bits and I don't want to. Dunno what to do, I'm going in for an op this Wednesday so not much I can do before then, and I'm gonna be out of action for a while after so he isn't gonna be doing much for a while either.

I have thought about loaning, but I have a bit of an issue with him being mine but not 'mine.' And I'd be constantly worrying, can't help it with all the horror stories out there etc.

Makes me rather depressed, especially with op looming aswell. Help!

Find a sharer?

My friend did this, she was a sharer and it worked very well and she eventually bought the horse.

I agree a sharer would be best while you decide. It means Norman will get exercised and you still have full control.
