towerlands amateur international - whos going??

We're going. Haven't done my entries yet....will do them in the next few days.

We are moving yards 4 days before the show and was having doubts as to whether or not to go...but have decided to just do it anyway

Bo will do the Small Tour this year...did the Grand last year but want to relax and enjoy ourselves a bit more this year

Trike will just jump the Disco each day in the outside ring as it's pointless putting him up against the sort of speed daemons that will be there

What are you jumping ?

i might pop over to watch.... sadly Dunlop isnt experienced enough to jump the small tour just yet and Ellie is only have her 1st show back from a 2yr break this weekend so it's a bit early for her

im still undecided.

my novice may be doing the 1.05 tour but maybe not! maybe just jump outside!

my good horse could do the big tour - but i dont know if i stand more chance in the little one as at least then i can be quicker and more competitive.

Im going !!!! we are doing the small tour with Gadget and Mark who rides him has another in the small tour and 2 in the big tour so should be a busy show for me !!

ohhh, i didnt know there was outside classes aswell?what classes are they holding outside each day?

im going, just in debate of what class to do.....

I've done my entries - 1 in the small tour 1- in the big tour. I'm really looking forward to it.

There's a full schedule of Disco to Fox/1.20m Open outside on each day

I did the big tour last year on Bo...but decided that he stood more of a chance this year in the small tour as there were some very good int'l speed horses in the big one last time

There's plenty of quick horses in the small tour too though...be under no illusions about that

Wish I was brave enough, maybe 20 years ago!! Will support my friend Tess, & watch you all in admiration, good luck everyone.

im under no illusions! just know that my horse is very quick around 1.25 tracks - but mum gets all pully and careful when it gets bigger than that!!

If your horse is quick around 1.25m then you'll have no worries in the Big Tour as it doesn't really get that big except perhaps in the GP
wink.gif
In fact, you may be better off in the Big Tour as there are less entries and it tends to be more of a jumping contest than the Small Tour

oh ok. someone said it went up to 1.35 + in the final.

i havnt been before so am going by what others say!!

thanks for that Rambo, i may just enter him for the big one then!!

No...it didn't get that big last year. The only class that gets slightly big is the inter-nations GP...and it's only over 2 rounds so can't go above 1.25m in the JO really. I think an over-enthusiastic reporter last year said the last fence...a wall...was 1.30m...but if it was it was the only fence that was and it didn't cause any problems. The other classes didn't seem to go up much at all in the JO sections tbh

I've just filled in the entry forms...find a fax and we'll be in there
