Towerlands closing 1sst October

Thats just rubbish. I went up there to watch in the new year and thought it will be a great place to jump, now i have a new one i was looking forward to taking him there at some point this winter :(
 
I suppose with him not doing it any more its not worth the effort to keep running shows. Such a shame as it held some really good shows.
 
Is the whole of Towerlands closing or just the outdoor bit that was hired out to Charlie and her team (Equestrian Events Ltd) the lease only went to the 1st October??? There are pony / Riding club events booked after this date I believe
 
As I understand it Towerlandspark wont be running any winter shows but it is available for private hire to riding/pony clubs etc. There seems to be some contradiction from Equestrian Events who were the first to say it was closing then backtracked as the pony Halloween show is still going to run and they havnt ruled out running shows again next summer!
 
Im gutted towerlands is shutting , i had heard they want it to build houses on as they already have planning to turn the golf course in to house. ( however this is just hear say ) i have been told though that finchingfield equestrian centre are going to do bsja shows and more shows
