Rosie was there from 8.30 am until about 5.30 pm (but they do only live about 20 mins away). Four horses doing everything from clear round to Foxhunters. Briefly, Cruz went clear x 2 CR and had a one down in the first phase of the 2 phase BN but Rosie was very pleased with how she went - not spooky, just green and lacking balance but getting there. One Way (Bertie) had one down in the second part of the BN but was lying 3rd when I left - very fast and rather strong. I have vid of these 2 but have probs uploading because of my c**p broadband connection but will grab stills and post in due course.
Then Bertie had one down in the disco, Connie won the newcomers but had one down fox and Lottie had one faultitis (I think, but I do get confused).
Particularly as when I got home one of my (stupid) cats had brought a mouse in and let it go and it was sitting on top of the sideboard smiling at me with both cats on the floor growling - eventually boy cat caught it and I threw them all out - doh, need wine (lots)

Sounds very promising to me

Not a bad start, room for improvement though BBs - but that's what it's all about!
Yes, Bertie is the new junior horse and they're still getting used to each other - he's very strong and quite tricky in an indoor SJ arena although jumping huge at home apparently. Her trainers think he's the bees knees but possibly asking too much to make the team when the relationship is so new. She has left school - too much hard work these A-levels if you don't know how you're going to use them. She's been working part time, learning to drive and trying to find time to work her 4 + the pointers + liveries and I'm not sure how many youngsters - there aren't enough hours in the day. Good job she enjoys hard work
