Towing car - BMW 3 series?

The above may end up being my next company car (not my choice). Does anyone know the towing capacity? Have a B & E licence. Any experiences of them as a tow car? I can find very little info online about them, including towing capacity, which appears to be some sort of German state secret...

I had one, it was awful to tow with! Really struggled on hills, even though according to its stats it should have been fine! I was towing 1 horse in a single trailer. I found myself dreading each journey and checking before hand that there were no steep hills! Now have a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and it pulls like a tank, no worries at all.

I have a 330d sport touring and i towed with no problems. It was useless on grass though so we bought a lorry and kept it as a family car.
