hello, looking for a towing car... hb510 trailor plus a 17.3 warmblood, all I can see that tis suitable so far is the l200 wht do you guys tow with?

I tow a 510 trailer with a 17hh and a 15.1hh with a Landrover Defender or a Ford Ranger Thunder.

I tow a Ifor Williams 510 with two 16.2hh - in a Isuzu Trooper 3.0ltr turbo diesel. Pulls really well.

I tow an 18hh and 17.2 with a toyota landcruiser. Its a workhorse through and through.

We have a Isuzu Trooper 3.0 tows like a dream - have a really old rice trailer and two over 15hh hands horses - not a problem!!!

Mitsubishi Shoguns LWB are great tow cars!

I pull a 510 with a Kia Sorento, my parents use a Toyota Landcuiser. Both are diesel automatics and both tow very well with two horses on board.

The only thing I would say is that if you ever want to tow a big equitrek you'll need something like landrover or Ssangyong that can tow over 3tons.

I tow my trailer with a Ford Mondeo as it's towing capacity is 1500. I have an old Bahill which is only 680 kilo's and my horse is around 600 kilo's so this is well within the weight and it tows it really easily. I can't afford to run a 4 wheel drive as I have to do a lot of driving and the Mondeo does around 50 mpg. If I had plenty of money I would go for a Shogun or something like that.
