Towing IW 505 - Learner

Hi,

I have an L200 & looking at an IW 505, would I be allowed you drive it empty to learn? I do not currently have a b & e license as I’m waiting for a test.

If you down plate the trailer then yes. Assuming the cars MAM plus trailer is under 3.5 tonnes which it probably is if you down-plate trailer to it’s unladen weight.

I believe, from reading Rog's previous guidance, yuu can tow it as long as you are being supervised by a b+e licence holder and that your vehicle and trailer are wearing L plates.

Don't think it matters whether it's empty or not...

Oh yeah as above. My post was if you wanted to tow it unsupervised.
