I posted at the weekend about whether to tow without a buddy in the car with me and today I bit the bullet went for my lesson and did the whole lot on my own including reversing the trailer back into it's parking space when I got back home
THANK YOU to everyone who replied to my original post and encouraging me do it - it was easy and I wasn't even nervous which i usually am when I tow.
I had a lesson at Yorkshire Riding Centre with Chris Bartle and it was excellent - no photos (I was solo remember LOL). We were having a bit of trouble relaxing and Chris said he'd jump on so he could see what Ludo felt like and so I could see what what happening - 20 minutes later I get back on to a horse that is all bendy and flexible and for the first time in aaaages is moving forwards. In equal measures I'm
that he had to ride Ludo to get him to work properly and
that I can say CB has ridden my horse!!
Self indulgent but a happy Ludi-doodi tonight! Will be going back for more lessons when I can afford - fortunately that won't be until late August when Chris comes back from the olympics!
