towing test

this is a long shot, but does anyone know of an instructor that does towing lessons in the plymouth/tavistock area?

i really need to take the test, but cant seem to find anyone local that does lessons...cheers

I emailed the BHS SW and they sent me some names as I was having a nightmare trying to find someone in Somerset. There is also the option in Taunton which is a bit far away of a 5 day course with guarranteed pass but I just wanted lessons.

have you done yours Lec ?? Im considering doing it but don't have a 4x4 at the mo..

You don't have to have a 4x4 to do the test. Your instructor should provide the vehicle and trailer. Mine did - the trailer was much easier to hitch and unhitch than my old one!

Would you consider doing intensive lessons and then taking your test in one go? If so, there are plenty of people about who provide this service.
