Towing vehicle Audi A6 what estates do you use?

Another one to throw into the mix - Mitsubishi Outlander.
I bough mine on the back of 3 friends all having them for towing and being happy with them.

Mine is a 2.2 diesel, 180BHP, 2T capacity and I use it for my Bateson Ascot & 17hh+ MW hunter type. It’s a 2012 model and needed no major maintenance so far

I love it when people are told absolute b0ll9ks about Landrovers and believe it :D

I have had a series 3, a Defender 90, a Defender 110 and 3 Discoveries so far, not one has ever broken down or been unreliable :)

The Freelander is acknowledged as not being able to pull the skin off a rice pudding as it is aimed at the ‘Chelsea Tractor taking the kids to school/supermarket run’ market so definitely don’t bother with one of those - go Disco or Defender :)

It's hard as everyone has different experiences don't they! My Dad and Brother both have Disco 4s and do love them, but my brother's last Disco 4 had the engine die at 110k miles and was essentially a write off. Not put them off obviously as the current 2 have been bought since then, but I do understand why they have the reputation!!

Just putting it out there... could we start a review thread somewhere on the forum exclusively for horses? I feel there's a gap in the shared knowledge and google doesn't throw much up, even from H&H. Not sure how it could be done as you can't do sub-threads... hmmm....
