its a 407 sw, would it be any good for towing a trailer, with one possibly 2 ponies of approx 450kg?

You need to check the max towing limit send the kerb weight for starters.

I would think u would need a very lightweight trailer and even then might find you can only tow 1

have looked it up ROG towing capacity is only 1300kg-so i think thats a no
