Towing with a Space Star Mitsubishi (..shoot me down)

We recently retired our dear Land Rover so I've been left with my gorgeous trailer but nothing to tow with. I'm looking at 3.5 boxes for sale to maybe replace the trailer in the nearish future however I'm itching to get Spider out and there's evening dressage on next Thursday very close by. Would my fathers Mitsubshi Space Star 1.8 be able to tow a 510 (unladan 100kg) and a Spider (skinny TB)? I did alittle googling and I believe the car as a breaked towing weight of 1500kg so in my mind trailer plus pony would actually equal that. It would only be a few miles... with no hills... make me smile and say yes...

Nope, not worth it imo. i would just hire one for the day, beg borrow or steal a good towing car, or get a lift with someone else.

Accidents with trailers are not fun.
