Towing With a Suzuki Jimney? Anyone done it?

Would like any feedback with regards to towing from a suzuki jimney, as thinking of getting one, thanks.

I have a jimny and although i have never towed with it, i wouldn't have thought it would have the power for it tbh. It is a 4x4 but the engine is still fairly small. Not much help I know :/

NO way can you tow with a Jimney! it may be 4x4 but would defo not meet the criteria pretty certain.

From the little I know of them they don't have either the power or the kerbside weight. The published braked towing capacity (from Auto Trader) is 1300kg - work out what your horse (+ haynet etc) weighs and then subtract it, it won't leave you much for a trailer.

horse + haynet 400 tops, trailer unsure, but a single horse. Planning on going to weighbridge.

Seriously no chance! even a toyota rav 4 can not pull a trailer you might be able to pull a cat if you are lucky LOL

I've towed a very light and small yacht on a trailer off the Isle of Wight ferry as a favour, it managed it but no way can it tow anything heavy!
My 2.7 Maverick would though, don't try to tow horses with a Jimney!

Def not a jimmy but I have seen someone tow one horse with the vitara. However, I still don't think they are necessarily up to the job either

Legally could tow a lightweight trailer with one horse

I do not know of anybody who does so have had no reports on HOW it tows

I have a jimney, there's no way it could tow a trailer with one horse, they are very light and don't feel too stable
