Trace Tracing a horse I used to own - ex racehorse

Hello

I wondered if anyone can assist me in tracing a horse I sadly sold around 7 years ago?
He would be about 13 now, he was by Holy Roman Emperor out of Virginia Rose. He was called War in Rome, or Romeo/Gremlin.

I bought him as a teenager, and he was a brilliant little horse, however I had a few pretty awful changes in circumstance and couldn't afford to keep him. I sold him to a friend of a friend who I later discovered was a dealer. I have so much guilt for not researching properly where I sent him, I had so much else going on that I just trusted he had a home for life. This was in North Yorkshire/North East.

I'm just wanting to know if he's ok/where he ended up.

Could you write to the passport issuing company, they should be able to help, a passport company forwarded a letter to me from an old owner of one of mine.

Hard name to look for! He was born in 2013 so is 11yrs old now. I'd try trace my horse on facebook with good pics

Thank you both- I don't have Facebook so may get a friend to post on my behalf. He only ran once so I can't imagine anyone will have heard of him from the racing side
