A few months ago, I went to see this horse who I fell in love with. She was an absolute dream. I was pipped to the post by the other buyers, and unfortunately did not buy her. I know she was sold on previously a few times in a short space of time, so I'm hoping to be able to find her. I can't stop thinking about her and hope maybe one day our paths will cross again. I've tried the trace my horse UK facebook page, but since I never owned her, they won't let me post.

Any advice is welcome! She was sold near to Brighton.

Have you tried posting on any horsey Facebook groups in the area? It is also worth bearing in mind that she may have been passed on so quickly because there is an issue that you weren't aware of that means you had a lucky escape, especially as she has been sold more than once in a short space of time (although there is a chance that she may have been sold on through no fault of her own of course).

I had a similar situation with one I went to see and didn’t buy, and she’s currently standing in in my field!

I found her on Facebook, via a group started for horses of her type and breeding. The owner had posted a pic (not for sale) and I introduced myself and said that if she’s ever looking for a home, I would love her. Several years later, I received a message from the owner, and the horse is now with me.

So if it’s meant to be, I firmly believe it will be. And have a good poke around Facebook groups. If the horse was advertised on Facebook then the buyer may well have commented or updated the thread.

I would have a good search and try and find out about her, I'm a bit like LG if I have a feeling about a horse I can't leave it and also think what is meant to be will be.

Good luck x please let us know the outcome
