Hi, this is for a horse presumably?
Is the horse registered with any society for a start? If so, you could enquire with the relevant society perhaps. Failing that you may just have to work backwards via import papers etc if you can.
Tarrsteps will probably have some ideas you could try a pm to her.

Have you had the chip read?
The company database should be identifiable by the number of digits.
AVID uses 9 digits and a letter.
