Tracing info on ex race horse 'The Jolly Duke'

A friend is trying to trace a horse she used to own and was sold on,

He used to flat race, his racing name is The Jolly Duke.

He is freezed mark 'JOLY' Dark Bay, 16.2/16.3 HH

He would be about 14 years old now - maybe a bit older.

Any info would help - he was much loved before she had to move abroad.

Oh I will try, he wasn't a very good race horse though

In fact he was a bu**er to ride full stop so I don't hold out much hope for her finding him, I will check out the SL web site - thanks

phone Weatherbys and ask for Records dept. They will help you identify the right horse and tell you where and when it ran and what it won! I've just done it for my youngster's dam.

Thanks for all of the replies, I have looked on the racing sites, I can find info on the race that he ran (and lost!) but I cannot find out where he is now.

I have registered for the ex racers forum and I will ask on there.
