We have lost a load of surface on our Trackright Arena due to recent torrential flooding.
I have tried for a number of days to get hold of Trackright / Eddelthorpe Equestrian Services and had no joy

. We really want them to repair it as we've had 7 fantastic years of use.
Can anyone help?

I hope so as I was talking to them a couple of weeks ago about a new arena!
Any more comments about yours? It sounds like it has been a good thing. I'm still trying to understand why they advocate fewer drains than other construction methods?

Ours was built 7 years ago, and the surface is a patented mixture of Silica Sand & crushed coke I think. I don't know the detail of drainage, but would assume that depends on site conditions.
We know someone who had one installed by another company at a similar time with a Silica surface, which was riding deep in parts within months. Ours rides the same all over.
It has been used 5 days a week with up to 4 horses in that time.
Our site was difficult in terms of being on a hillside, and much debate was made locally as to whether it would slide down the hill - apart from minor settling it hasn't budged and we have the equivalent of the Derby bank at one end.
They were very proffessional, and did a brilliant job. The surface has stood up to a huge amount of rain & an old land drain bursting onto it.
It rides exceptionally well, holding the right amount of water, although it can get a bit dusty when the weathers very hot & dry - but i think this is down to a breakdown in the surface and it could do with some more topping - we're planning to top ours with rubber once we've repaired the flooding damage.
We also harrow it once or twice a month to stop tracking and undulations.
If you manage to get hold of them please can you let me know - thanks
