My app has gone odd/frozen. I’ve turned my phone on and off several times.
It worked this morning as Mr P was on my phone looking at it. (He hasn’t done anything as I had it after to check my battery)
Has anyone else had this? Everything else on my phone is working fine.

Just opened my app and it is fine, so more likely to be your phone. I'd recommend removing the app and reinstalling it.

It does have glitchy moments, but that's normally on the tracker software end. Does it look normal if you log into your account via the website instead of the app?

Problem being I apparently (stupidly) used an old work email when I set my first one up!
I no longer have access to to it and have no idea what my pass word is 😫
I fear this could be a nightmare!

I've found their customer service really helpful! Slow to get to the front of the queue, they are very responsive and helpful.
Once of my trackers was glitching and pretending there was no network, etc. They were able to do a remote reset, which worked. I am sure if you contact and explain you dilemma they will reset your email address to something you can access and help it all get up and running away. Probably not till Monday now, though. I don't think it's a big team!

All good on my app too.

Have you tried rebooting your phone?

If that works you should be able to change your email address once you get back in under the account info section.

I bought one for Berts after a young missing lab being shared repeatedly on my fb.
It was found with its lead (not sure how it got free) still attached and stuck on a tree 3 days later.
It just really hit home and I thought for the price of one, even though he’s super at coming back when I call it was worth it incase.

Cecil has had one for a while because he’s a chaser so does sometimes p off, he always comes back but once or twice took a bit too long and I like to be able to look on my phone and see that yes he’s out of sight but heading back or, on a really bad day, I know which direction to walk! -only happened once and I just walked to the correct field and yelled him. Had he not been wearing it I’d have been heading the wrong way.
I feel far safer with them on!

In fact years ago our cat had one after going missing and he eventually lost it, the old cat ones were a bad design, they were a collar and the breakaway was too safe.

I found it a year later having been in a field all winter and it still worked after charging

Just to add, it sounds silly loosing a tracker, the cat ones came undone in two places. The break away and a charging point so if that one came undone it essentially turned off. Now they are a single unit that fits into a charger to charge so that can’t happen!

Im gonna get one of these for when we start hacking out further just in case anything happens.
Does tractive need a monthly subscription?
It does yes. I pay £120 for two years which is the cheapest way.
My original dog one was £44 but I just recently got the second from Tractives own eBay site reconditioned/used but looked brand new in the box for £16.99

I got a pitpat as that didn’t need a subscription but couldn’t even track Cecil when he was on a lead right next to me!
Might be worth a look but they do have a signal check on the website so do check before you buy! That said they have been wonderfully helpful and sent me a returns label to get a refund.

I lost a tractive in the middle of a pond lol. They are now all secured with an extra velcro loop and not had any more problems.

My dog ran away while on holiday a few years ago. He panicked and bolted when something spooked him. What could have been an awful awful situation was entirely saved by the Tractive as we were able to follow his general location and eventually met up with him. He did not go in the direction I imagined! He sort of ran in a straight line for about 500m of woodland, then doubled back and I think he was trying to get back to us, only he really misjudged and was heading in a very different direction. It was scary but seeing the little moving dot on my screen was amazing.
