Dont have any experience of the seller, but if the advert is a true description of the horse then he seems an absolute bargain and i'd snap him up quickly...providing vetting etc goes ok.
go with your eyes open she would hav bought this cheap or had it in px.make sure it is vetted and blood tested and get a written bill of sale warrenty etc.she has sold some bad ones and some good ones.she is a trader so has to tell warts n all.good luck
she does ad for rehomeing problem horses to give them a chance b4 they go to market eyes wide open ,husband seems ok but she has wheeled n dealed for years.b carefull
I bought our stallion from her. Very happy with him, he was cheap but she told me why and I verified it with his breeder.
He was sold as seen without a vetting but she did put on receipt that she hadn't given him any medication.
He is exaclty what she advertised him as! Also she rang me within 2 weeks to see how I was getting on with him! So no complaints from me!
To those doubting thomas types that love to slate without having been to view.
Please note I have ammended advert and hoping whoever buys prints it off and keeps.
This horse is 10000% genuine and has come locally to me.
I am happy to put in full writing a 28 day no quibell money back guarantee, as stated in the advert.
I can if you all like bump this horses price up by say an extra 1 to 2 thousand, but I always work on the case that a small profit is better than no profit, (its what feeds my own personal horses each month!!). Also judging by the current economical state of affairs there is actually fewer people with the money to buy horses, regardless of the endless "how much" questions people ask is their horse worth. A horse is only worth what someone is willing to pay. I am trade and I can personally tell you that there are genuinely fewer people out there with spare cash to buy horses. On the same hand there seems to be a whole more multitude of thoroughly rude people who arrange to come see horses and don't actually turn up and those that come to give "hubby/partner etc" a free riding lesson out there.
I am sure many of you selling horses will have experienced the above. Believe you me it is not something that is confined to the private bracket. Over the last few weeks I have encountered every type of timeswaster/muppet I ever in my wildest dreams thought possible. I have to confess my patientence has on a few occasions ran out and I have been blunt almost to the point of being exceptionally rude.
So to all of you with a horse for sale. I wish you my very best of luck, whether it be a small pony or olympic showjumper, you know you are guaranteed a hostfull of idiots either via phone/email and possibly view. Above all be realistic in your prices if you really want to sell. Its not just the housing market that has fallen by 10.5% in the last 18mnths!
Again to all those that list on these forums I wish the very best of luck in whatever it is you do with horses. These really are very tough times, and at the end of them I hope we can all have smiles on our faces, carry on competing etc or just enjoy our equine companions for the ultimate true friends they are.
