I am doing a walk and trot test, unaffiliated on a traditional cob. What is the deal with turnout/plaiting etc. I have never competed on a cob before.

Clean and tidy really. Personally I'd probably do a running plait but that's because I find I get tangled in mane 🤣

Ditto this. I've not got a cob but I've seen some lovely coloureds out doing BD - I love the feathers-flying look! As long as you're neat, tidy and comfortable you'll be fine.

Running dressage braids! They look amazing recieved loads of comments. Much easier to do than looks. Separate into 13/15 sections, plait tight then thread through underneath and use the end as part of next plait and so on. Standard running braids come out so easily and can look a mess by the time youre in if they like pulling their head down. My attempt and the tutorial. BUT aslong as their cleanish they dont need to be as smart as showing ..
