i know it varies with each horse but ican't for the life of me remember if it's the beginning or the end of February.

You're good to clip right up till horse starts to shed winter coat.

It used to be Boxing Day in the old days, but I don't think it makes that much difference, some people clip all year round.

Tia, if that's the case i'll prob still be clipping in june!

he seems to shed his winter coat in july and grow the new one in August. (being a welsh mountain pony) well, you never know when the sky might drop shed loads of snow on us after all.
