How tragic. I've never heard of a horse breaking down on both legs like that. Poor thing.

What a beautiful filly, with a big heart. Although Big Brown was far in front she way ahead of the rest of the field. We were really impressed. What a sad end to the race and horrible shock for her team.

one of my clients horses broke down on both front legs on the finish line in chepstow last year. Tried to nurse him for about 3 weeks but he overeached as well and got MRSA in the wound and thats what killed him. Was devasted....lovely boy x
