Is anybody else going to this?
I have never done Trailblazers before, but from the website was under the impression that you can jump anyway?
Also, although it says that jodphur boots and half chaps are OK, is this often done or will I look like a pratt? I havent got my long boots yet

Is it generally really busy?

sorry about the million questons!

Hi, boots and chaps/gaiters will be fine as long as they are matching colour etc...i wear black boots and black gaitors SJ all the time

The trailblazers anyone can enter but I think if you are BSJA registered then you are not eligible for the championships...but still pretty decent shows to go to just for a bit of practice. Limes is pretty good, better then some in this area lol

Yes they are the same colour. I have never jumped BSJA but I think my horse is registered (as a pony lol) from the previous owners...does that make a difference??

That's not quite true

Anyone can enter on any horse, but horses who are registered as Grade A or B in BSJA cannot contest the finals

At least that's the way it was last year

Limes is very upto height but very well run and the warm up will be indoors. I did tb there and got my only ever placing hehe.

Its a nice venue and they do expect you to be turned out well but boots and gaiters is fine- thats what i wear.

I think its quite good that its up to height, gives flash something to think about! Last time we went anywhere the 2'9 class was about 2'!

maybe see you there then, I'll be the idiot on a red and white coloured thing that everyone thinks looks like an arab!

we're not sure what we are doing, to be honest its our first proper show together so we'll probably play it safe. Think we're doing 80 and 85cm or something like that, although my sister may be more ambitious, with our nutty bay!!

Unless they have started their outdoor shows already, the warm up will be in their outdoor school and the classes run in the indoor school. Just in case it rains and you leave your wet weather gear at home!
