where to look for a cheap trailer or small 3.5t horsebox?
have a small budget but a brother in law that is a fantastic mechanic (and very over protective of the kids) so if i get one in need of repairs i know it will be safe before i take it out next spring.

any ideas welcome.

ebay or tack shop ads.......
 
If you're prepared to put (get mechanic friend!!!) to put the work in then ebay is a good one to try!! Otherwise your local riding club website??
 
I'm in Sussex so probs a bit far.
I know someone whos got a 3.5 box for sale, she's asking only £500, I know she's recently been taking horses out in it (so cant be too bad) it's got tax but mot is due soon, she recons that it will cost another £500 for the mot, but thats not a prob if you have your very own mechanic. So cheap because she been trying to sell it for ages and now she just needs a quick sale. I was thinking of getting in thats why I know so much about it, only decided aganist it coz I dont have the time to go out anywhere!
