We went to see and pick up a trailer tonight, mainly for storage, its an old trailer, but they want to a cover to hang down to stop rain going in when the ramp is closed or replacement doors. What is the tech name for it and anywhere they can pick one up

similar to this so don't mind replace top doors for the back or plastic cover it does have 2 hinges on the back like this one,

ps its not a rice.

I don’t know where you can source replacement roll down rear blinds from, but as someone who had one fitted as standard to a (Rice) trailer from new, be aware that they are only partially effective at keeping driving rain out. Don’t keep anything in the trailer that can’t withstand a bit of damp.

If looks aren't too much of a problem you could try this. Stick wide, heavy duty Velcro a short distance from the aperture on the top and side of the roof (like an upside down'U' and across the top of the rear ramp. Make, by sewing, a shaped cover with the other side of the Velcro sewn to it. You could use a basic tarpaulin from Wickes, or get some waterproof material from somewhere like Pennine Outdoor.

ty it is mainly for haylage bags and shavings, as they don't drive and when winter comes and delivery cannot drive in snow, they want a back up of bedding and haylage

I used to have a Bahill. Not much help at all but the people that had it before made their own top door. Wood cut to shape with metal pins as hinges. Worked brilliant.

I’ve heard of people that get ones made from sailing clubs.
