When I had my horse box I got a cheap reversing camera, our trailer came with a camera and can't remember the brand, I will have a check later.

We had the second one and it was pretty good whilst it worked. I don’t want to have to hardwire something in. Only issue was that it then decided that it wasn’t going to switch off and broke. I think we’d had it a couple of years so out of any warranty. Hadn’t been used that much, always stored in the house and never submitted to extremes of temperature (I only go out in nice weather!) so I was disappointed that it broke given the price of it. I haven’t bothered replacing it as horse does travel well and we don’t go very far even when we do go out. I prefer to have a camera but not keen on spending that much again. Mine may have been a dodgy one so will be interested if others have it and it’s working well after a couple of years.

We've put a reversing camera in our trailer, it does the job and cost about £60. The only wiring needed was power to the camera which is taken from the trailer light feed so it just means we need the sidelights on to view the picture.
