Just had my trailer fixed (yay!!) and taking it for a service next week but want to get it cleaned too. How do you clean the roof on yours? Mine is an Ifor with a white roof and it's been standing for 18 months since I was pregnant and looks awful.

Are there any professional companies that come and clean them or is it a ladder and hose job? (bit tricky for me at min as leg in bandages)

I used a hose pipe, a ladder and a little broom and just scrubbed and used the hose pipe jet nozzle. Mine was a nice two tone green / spiders web colour

Now it's all nice and white / blue again (like it was when we bought it).

I did mine yesterday, for the second time in about 4 years!

I use a power/pressure washer to get the worst of the greem slime off. Then I spray with (no joke) Cilit Bang and wash like I'm washing the car. Power wash the roof and scrub, again with Cilit Bang and a sponge, then just rinse with hose pip.

I don't.....Mine is fairly green. Dad eventually gets fed up, and takes it to one of those cheap hand car wash jobbies....

Thank you -I kind of hoped there'd be a 'rent a trailer wash' option though.

Nothing against the ladder and power hose approach (and like playing with the pressure washer) - just struggling to pusuade my 10 month old son that mummy can leave him in his pushchair for ten minutes while she does something other than ten verses of 'row row row your boat' - with actions.

I used Turtlewax Nano car wash stuff when I did mine last Winter and it's stayed surprisingly clean inspite of being parked under a tree. Did it the hard way with a bucket, brush and step ladder. But think the wax finish has repelled muck
