Trailer Floor query?

Hi, I had a new floor put in my trailer about 4 years ago, they used marine ply to do it. I check it regularly and last week noticed it was starting to go soft around some edges. I thought the floor would last longer than this? I was under the impression it would last at least 10 years. How long would you expect it to last? I had it checked by the manufacturer (not the people who did the floor) and they said the people who did the floor had not sealed the edges of the board when it was cut to shape. Should I pursue the company who did the floor to re do it for free or should I just get it done again elsewhere?

i think as it was four years ago you would struggle. Get an ally floor put in. I dont think wood would last that long, particularly if its urinated on etc!
